We did the morning safari and our guide was really nice. He seemed really knowledgeable about the animals and the park and was really nice. However the whole atmosphere for competition for the safari put us off a bit. We ended up seeing lots of elephants, water buffalo, a few peacocks, a hawk, and crocodiles.
I had a great time with my family in this safari! I have done many safaris in Africa, and I must say I was very impressed! Our Udawalawe natioanl park safari lasted barely 4 hours, yet we saw plenty of animals including elephants, crocodiles, spotted dears, coyotes, eagles, and so many varieties of birds!
We had an excellent visit – we saw elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles, peacocks, jackal, birds, monkeys, etc etc.
